Poll Reveals Most Americans Oppose US Military Aid to slaughterer ‘israel’

A recent poll, unveiled on Wednesday, indicates that American public approval for the United States' support of Israel's military operations against Hamas has reached its lowest level since the onset of the Israel-Hamas conflict, as reported by US media outlets.

A recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University revealed that 60% of voters are against the United States providing military aid to Israel, while only 32% are in favor of increasing such support. This marks the highest recorded level of opposition and the lowest level of support for the US-Israel military partnership in a Quinnipiac survey since the events of October 7, 2023, as reported by Politico.

The increasing disapproval of U.S. support for Israel is unfolding as Trump endeavors to find a resolution to the conflict, while Democrats strive to reconcile differing perspectives within the party regarding the stance on backing Israel.

A recent poll indicates that a significant portion of Democrats and independent voters are against Israel’s military operations in Gaza. The survey reveals that 75% of Democrats and 66% of independents oppose increased financial assistance for Israel’s military efforts. Meanwhile, 56% of Republicans are in favor of allocating more funds for this purpose.

A recent survey indicates a sharp division in public opinion regarding accusations of genocide against Israel. According to the poll, 50% of voters expressed the belief that Israel is engaged in genocidal actions, with this sentiment shared by 77% of Democrats. In contrast, 64% of Republicans surveyed disagreed with the notion that Israel is committing genocide.

Recent polling data from Quinnipiac University indicates a nearly even split in public sympathy towards Israelis and Palestinians, with 37% of respondents expressing greater sympathy for Palestinians and 36% for Israelis. This represents the highest level of support for Palestinians and the lowest for Israelis recorded in this poll since its inception in 2001.

Diminishing backing for Israel has intensified the White House’s initiatives to conclude the Israel-Hamas conflict. In response, top advisors convened on Wednesday to deliberate over strategies for Gaza once the hostilities cease, amid ongoing Israeli bombardments.

Quinnipiac conducted a nationwide survey of 1,220 registered voters between August 21 and August 25. The poll’s margin of error stands at plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
