Nation Shows Unity Post-Conflict; Netanyahu’s Efforts to Incite Iranian Public Unsuccessful, Says Top Commander
A high-ranking commander of the Iranian Army commended the country for showcasing "exceptional unity" in the face of what was described as unlawful aggression by Israel and the United States. The commander also noted the public's decision to ignore calls from the Tel Aviv regime to engage in street protests.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, who serves as the deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, delivered his remarks on Saturday at an event held in Rasht to honor 8,000 martyrs from Gilan Province.
He stated that the Iranian people were instrumental in the nation’s triumph during the June conflict, emphasizing that with the support of its citizens, Iran will remain invincible against any adversary.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, through the sacred defense during the 1980s conflict initiated by Iraq, and the recent 12-day war, our nation has consistently demonstrated remarkable unity and solidarity, he stated.
“The 12-day conflict saw the leader of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, repeatedly urging the populace to stage demonstrations. However, these appeals went unanswered, as national unity and cohesion were increasingly fortified.”
Sayyari asserted that the various tactics employed by adversaries, encompassing imposed conflicts, cultural infiltration, soft warfare, and hybrid warfare, are all targeted at overcoming the Iranian nation.
The senior military official highlighted that prior to the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian people boldly faced off against a heavily armed regime and ultimately achieved victory.
He highlighted that due to the active involvement of the populace on the battlefield, Iran secured victory in the eight-year war imposed by the Iraqi regime, which received backing from both Eastern and Western nations.
“The adversaries’ objective in initiating the imposed conflict and the 12-day offensive was to undermine the Revolution and dismantle the nation’s territorial integrity. Nevertheless, our citizens valiantly defended their homeland with minimal resources, ultimately compelling the opponents to abandon their ambitions,” he stated.
On June 13, Israel initiated an unexpected and outright offensive against Iran, sparking a 12-day conflict that resulted in the deaths of at least 1,064 individuals, comprising military leaders, nuclear experts, and civilians.
The United States has launched an offensive operation targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities, a move widely seen as a significant breach of international law.
In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces launched strikes on key strategic locations within the occupied territories and targeted the al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military base in the West Asian region.
On June 24, Iran successfully executed retaliatory operations against both Israel and the United States, effectively bringing an end to the terrorist attack.
