More Civilians Killed in US Airstrike in Northeastern, Eastern Syria

At least 16 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the US-led coalition air raid in Hasaka and Deir Ezzur provinces, field sources reported on Saturday.

The sources reported that the warplanes bombed the village of Zeib Hadaj in Southeastern Hasaka on Firday afternoon, killing eight members of a family and wounding several more.

In the meantime, other fighter jets of the US-led coalition struck the village of al-Baqouz Foqani near the town of Hajin in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, killing at least eight civilians, including three children, the sources said, adding that some of the injured are in critical condition.

In a similar development in late April, the sources said that the warplanes bombed the town of Hajin in Eastern Deir Ezzur, leaving 3 civilians dead and 9 more wounded.

The sources said that most of the victims were children and women, adding that some of the injured are in critical conditions.
