Mikdad, Attaf discuss latest developments in occupied Palestine

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and expatriate Minister Fayssal Mikdad stressed the importance of supporting Palestinian people and the need to prevent the Israeli occupation entity from applying its policies of displacing Palestinians from their lands.

Mikdad made a phone call with his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf on Thursday, focusing on the importance of intensifying joint efforts to back the Palestinian people and activate joint Arab action.

“Syria appreciates the great efforts exerted by Algeria in support of the struggle of Palestinian people and their just rights in the face of barbaric Israeli kill machine,” Mikdad said.

In turn, Minister Attaf expressed Algeria’s high appreciation for Syria’s stances and the standing coordination between the two brotherly countries, particularly with regard to the Palestinian issue.
