The United States government has intensified its stance on Venezuela with increased military presence in the Caribbean. Officials claim this action is part of an anti-drug trafficking initiative, although they have not provided evidence to support these allegations.
The United States has conducted a minimum of 21 strikes on suspected drug-trafficking vessels in the Caribbean and Pacific regions since September, resulting in the deaths of at least 83 individuals.
Iran has consistently reiterated its backing for the sovereignty, security, and stability of Venezuela amid pressures and confrontations from the United States.
Iran and Venezuela, enduring strategic partners, are reinforcing their commitment to counter unilateral actions and unjust Western sanctions. The two nations are determined to uphold close collaboration across political, economic, and diplomatic arenas.
