Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters Announces Continuation of Offensive and Defensive Operations
A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that the Iranian armed forces will persist in their defensive and offensive operations with strength and determination.
Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, issued a statement on Thursday, cautioning adversaries that a significant error has been committed in targeting Iranian infrastructure. He emphasized that the response to such actions is ongoing and will persist.
The statement warned that should the assaults recur, retaliatory strikes on infrastructure associated with the United States and its allies would persist relentlessly until complete destruction is achieved. It further cautioned that any future response would be significantly more severe than the previous night’s actions.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched strikes on oil and energy facilities associated with the United States in the region earlier Thursday. This move was in retaliation for the assaults on Iran’s South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf that took place on Wednesday.
