IRGC Deputy Chief Vows ‘Regret-Inducing Response’ to Any Act of Aggression Against Iran
The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, has stated that Iran is ready to react decisively to any aggressive actions against the nation, cautioning opponents about engaging in any further adventurous activities.

In a speech to the National Congress of 12,000 Western units in Urmia on Saturday, Vahidi announced that Iran successfully countered adversarial strategies during the 12-day US-Israeli offensive in June, as well as the recent civil unrest incited by foreign entities within the nation.
In a recent statement, Vahidi asserted that, akin to the failures experienced during the 12-day conflict and the recent unrest, all adversarial attempts to undermine Iran have faltered. He emphasized Iran’s readiness to provide a regret-inducing response to any imprudent actions by its steadfast foes.
Officials highlighted that Iran’s opponents, after enduring difficulties during the 12-day conflict, sought to make up for their losses by inciting domestic unrest. However, they were once more thwarted by the country’s national unity and the solidarity of its citizens.
Protests against economic conditions that began intermittently in late December in Iran were quickly infiltrated by disruptive elements backed by foreign interests, seeking to escalate the demonstrations into broader unrest.
Iranian intelligence has verified that certain elements have been in receipt of intelligence, arms, and logistical support from the United States and Israel. In response, Iranian forces have moved to detain ringleaders and confiscate firearms, intercepting weapons that were destined for Tehran.
Trump has stated that the United States would consider military action against Iran if the nation resorts to violence against demonstrators, according to what he referred to as the Islamic Republic’s potential use of force.
In a recent statement, Vahidi criticized foreign nations for ostensibly supporting the Iranian people while actually working against them. He highlighted the sanctions imposed on Iran and instances of violence during recent unrest as clear indicators of enduring animosity towards the country.
He further claimed that the primary aim of the U.S. and its allies is to weaken Iran, disrupt its national unity, and place the country under external control.
