IRGC Chief: Pezeshkian’s “We Do Not Fear War” Message Reflects Iran’s Resolute Voice

The commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said President Masoud Pezeshkian’s declaration at the United Nations General Assembly that Iran does not “fear war” represented the Iranian nation’s “loud and resolute voice” in the face of threats.

IRGC Chief Major General Ahmad Vahidi made the remarks in a message on Thursday, a day after Pezeshkian told the UN General Assembly that the United States was responsible for what he described as terrorist actions that had killed and wounded tens of thousands of Iranians during its recent “illegal war of aggression” against Iran.

General Vahidi said in a brief message that the phrase “We do not fear war” represented the Iranian people’s determination and resolve.

The IRGC chief said the message delivered by the president from the United Nations podium had reached people around the world.

General Vahidi’s remarks highlighted Iran’s refusal to be deterred by the prospect of war or pressure from adversaries, including the United States.
