IRGC Asserts Iran’s Dominance in Shaping War Outcomes

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has asserted that Iran possesses a strategic advantage in influencing the outcome of any potential conflict. The IRGC emphasized that exerting military pressure on the Islamic Republic has been ineffective, according to their statements.

In a statement on Wednesday, IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Ali-Mohammad Naeini emphasized that the 12-day conflict in June, initiated by the Israeli regime and the United States against the Islamic Republic, proved that military strategies against Iran have been unsuccessful.

An official stated that efforts to coerce Iran through military maneuvers and strategic positioning, such as the recent dispatch of a U.S. aircraft carrier, are longstanding practices, referring to them as a “traditional tactic employed by American authorities.”

He attributed the regional military buildup to what he described as the “confusion and desperation” of White House officials in response to Iran’s defiance during the conflict and the failed US- and Israeli-supported armed uprising in the nation earlier in January.

A spokesperson revealed that following the “swift and conclusive defeat of the American-supported unrest in Iran,” United States officials have attempted to escalate tensions and instill fear within Iranian society.

Efforts to counteract Iranian influence have repeatedly faltered, as any anti-Iranian measures have met with “the solid barrier of the people and the national cohesion of Iranians,” he stated.

**Ground Reality Contrasts Media Narratives**

Naeini highlighted what he described as enemy media propaganda that is promoting the prospect of conflict in conjunction with the American military buildup. He asserted that the reality on the ground contrasts with the narrative being disseminated by opposing media sources.

He stated that they have “full control over the situation,” emphasizing that the IRGC takes pride in being “the shield of the great Iranian nation against any conspiracy.”

An official has stated that the Iranian Armed Forces are fully informed about the movements and actions of adversaries, with “operational plans prepared for every potential enemy scenario.”

Citing historical conflicts, Naeini stated that the adversary “has not forgotten our initial strikes on al-Udeid,” a critical American airbase in Qatar, which was significantly targeted by Iranian ballistic missiles in response to Washington’s involvement in the 12-day war.

Iran possesses extensive experience in overcoming adversaries in modern warfare, particularly on a large scale and within some of the most dangerous and complex battlefields, according to his statement.

**Wider Cautions**

The comments were in line with warnings previously issued by multiple Iranian officials.

On Wednesday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning that Iran’s Armed Forces are poised to respond “immediately and powerfully” to any acts of aggression. He emphasized that the military remains vigilant, “with their fingers on the trigger.”

The senior diplomat asserted that the Islamic Republic has assimilated “valuable lessons” from the 12-day conflict, enabling a response that would be both “swift and significant.”

Ali Shamkhani, a prominent adviser to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, issued a warning that any military initiative from the United States would mark the onset of war and would provoke a swift, comprehensive, and unparalleled retaliation.

The remarks came in response to statements made by Trump on January 27, asserting that “another beautiful armada” of warships, alongside the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, was “floating beautifully toward Iran.” He claimed that this deployment aimed to pressure Tehran into entering negotiations.

Trump issued a warning that not reaching an agreement would lead to a military strike “far worse” than the United States’ assault on Iranian nuclear sites in June.

The remarks made no mention of Tehran’s consistent stance against negotiating under duress, nor did they address the well-documented elements of the Iranian retaliation that targeted al-Udeid.
