Iran’s IRGC Declares End to Era of “Costless Threats”

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning to Iran’s adversaries, stating that any further missteps or acts of aggression will be countered with a significantly stronger, more accurate, and more lethal response than the True Promise operations.

In a statement released Thursday to commemorate the anniversary of Operation True Promise II, executed in October 2024, the IRGC declared their intent to deliver a response capable of drawing the alleged Zionist regime nearer to its anticipated downfall.

True Promise 2 was executed as a reaction to the martyrdom of resistance front leaders Martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Commander Nilforoushan, significantly impacting what was perceived as their opponents’ hollow prestige.

October 2 marks the commemoration of ‘Operation True Promise II,’ a significant and lasting operation conducted by Iran in retaliation for the assassination of key resistance figures, including Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Martyr Major General Abbas Nilforoushan of the IRGC by Israeli forces. The operation was characterized by a barrage of missile attacks and precision drone strikes, aimed at the heart of the occupied regions, and is noted for dismantling the dominance of Israel’s regime.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has paid tribute to its senior commanders, who were instrumental in orchestrating Operation True Promise II and were killed during the recent Israeli offensive against Iran in June. Among those honored were General Mohammad Baqeri, Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, and Major General Mahmoud Baqeri.

In a display of unity and coordination, a group of four distinguished generals, alongside other valiant and motivated commanders and fighters, trained under the principles of revolution and the Guardianship of the Jurist, have aligned their efforts.

A statement indicated that “The True Promise II” served as a severe retaliation against hostile actions, while highlighting that the Zionist regime continues to perpetrate offenses amid the international community’s silence.

“The statement further declared that the time of consequence-free threats is over, warning that any act of aggression will provoke a response that may lead to regret.”

The IRGC announced that any future errors or acts of aggression from adversaries will be met with responses that are increasingly severe, accurate, and lethal compared to True Promise II. Such actions are intended to hasten the downfall of the Zionist regime.
