Iran’s Great Success in US Casualties with 650 in Two Days; Aircraft Carrier Withdraws
A representative for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) reports that over 650 United States military personnel have been killed or injured during the initial two days of Iran's retaliatory Operation True Promise 4. This operation targets American military bases and naval vessels throughout the West Asian region.

In the initial two days of the conflict, 650 American personnel suffered casualties, with both fatalities and injuries reported, according to a statement by Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini on Tuesday.
He highlighted that it is customary for the US military to deny or hide casualty figures; however, Iranian intelligence and various field reports corroborate the toll.
He stated that Iranian missile and drone attacks on US naval units and a military base in Bahrain compelled the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln to retreat towards the southern Indian Ocean.
Reports indicate that Iranian forces have successfully inflicted significant damage on US military installations in the Persian Gulf area.
According to a spokesperson, Iranian missiles and drones have consistently targeted the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet located in Bahrain.
Naeini reported that 160 US servicemen were either killed or wounded during an Iranian Armed Forces strike on a crucial US military location within the Persian Gulf region.
Additionally, the US Navy’s MST combat support vessel sustained significant damage after being struck by missiles fired by the Iranian navy, according to reports.
A spokesperson for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps revealed that Iranian naval forces launched four cruise missiles targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln, positioned approximately 250 to 300 kilometers off the southeastern coast near Chabahar.
During a statement on Tuesday, the IRGC spokesperson highlighted the intensity of Iran’s recent retaliatory strikes, describing them as “more powerful and crushing” than those executed in the concluding days of the previous June 12-day conflict.
He emphasized that Iranian missiles have undergone significant upgrades, now boasting greater sophistication compared to those used in Operation True Promise 3.
Naeini highlighted the extraordinary strike capabilities of the missiles, stating that their power surpasses enemy calculations, leaving adversaries confounded by Iran’s missile prowess.
He assured the Iranian populace that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will steadfastly protect the nation, and that a significant victory is imminent.
