Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant Targeted for Third Time, Reports AEOI
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has reported that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has been targeted for a third time by both the United States and Israel.

On Saturday, the organization released a statement indicating that a projectile hit the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, marking the third assault on the facility. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or damage.
In an announcement made on its account on X, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) reported that a projectile struck the site of a power plant at 12:40 PM on Friday. According to the statement, the incident resulted in no casualties or damage, whether financial or technical.
The organization described those accountable as the “criminal American-Zionist enemy,” asserting that the plant operates as a peaceful nuclear facility.
Reports indicate that the assault on peaceful nuclear facilities constitutes a blatant breach of international law and poses a significant threat to regional security.
Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the nation’s sole active nuclear facility, serves as a pivotal component of its civilian energy agenda.
A statement emphasized that targeting peaceful nuclear facilities constitutes a blatant violation of international regulations and obligations, which ensure the immunity of such centers from military attacks. This action could significantly endanger regional security and safety.
Tensions in the region have intensified following a coordinated military action by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28th.
