Iranian Military Issues Ultimatum to Muslim Neighbors: Prevent US-Israel Aggression on Energy Sites or Risk Retaliation
A spokesperson for Iran's armed forces has urged the governments of neighboring Islamic nations to prevent the United States and Israel from carrying out aggressive attacks on Iran's civilian energy infrastructure. Failure to do so, he warned, might lead to reciprocal measures within the region.

A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zolfaghari, condemned the actions, characterizing them as criminal, carried out by “criminal America” and the “barbaric Zionist regime.”
Zolfaghari highlighted Iran’s measured approach and strategic patience, noting that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, despite having superior intelligence and advanced offensive capabilities, have consciously chosen not to engage in reciprocal actions out of consideration for the interests of Muslim populations in neighboring nations.
The spokesperson urged the governments of Islamic nations to promptly condemn the United States and Israel for what they described as inhumane and cowardly actions.
He cautioned that a lack of action could lead to the escalation of conflict, compelling Iran to retaliate with comparable actions throughout the region.
He observed that, contrary to their professed concern for the Iranian population, the U.S. and Israeli forces have not secured any substantial military victories other than the tragic loss of innocent civilian lives, including defenseless children, women, and men. The situation has now intensified, with attacks focusing on critical fuel and energy infrastructure as well as public service facilities vital to the Iranian community.
Zolfaghari warned of significant global repercussions, stating that if the world can bear oil prices surpassing $200 per barrel, the current strategy should persist.
The statement highlights the Armed Forces’ dedication to safeguarding Iran’s sovereignty and its citizens, while calling upon regional Muslim nations to actively contribute to preventing further escalation and to protect mutual Islamic interests in the face of ongoing aggression.
The National Iranian Oil Refinery and Distribution Company announced that late Saturday, the United States and Israel conducted missile strikes targeting oil depots in the Tehran and Alborz provinces. This action is part of a broader assault on Iran’s infrastructure.
In a statement released on his X account on Sunday, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, asserted that the US-Israeli assaults on fuel storage sites constitute “intentional chemical warfare” targeting Iranian citizens. He emphasized that the US-Israeli hostilities towards Iran have escalated to a perilous level, with the adversaries conducting “deliberate” attacks on the nation’s energy infrastructure.
