Iranian Foreign Minister Delivers Leader’s Written Message to Putin
Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has delivered a written message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Araghchi, leading a diplomatic delegation to Moscow for discussions with senior Russian officials, met with Putin on Thursday afternoon.
The minister delivered the Leader’s message to the Russian president, outlining the Islamic Republic’s perspectives and positions on matters concerning bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
Araghchi addressed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty, which was signed by Putin and Iranian leader Masoud Pezeshkian during a meeting in Moscow in January.
He described it as “the most significant demonstration of collaboration” between the two nations, highlighting Iran’s commitment to reinforcing and enhancing bilateral ties with the Russian Federation across various levels.
Putin extended his greetings and best wishes to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, highlighting the significance of the strategic alliance between Iran and Russia.
He emphasized that bolstering the relationship between the two nations, along with their collaborative efforts and alignment on regional and global matters, will benefit both parties and contribute to the preservation and enhancement of peace and stability.
During the meeting, discussions encompassed bilateral relations, regional concerns, and current threats. Additionally, the latest developments in negotiations concerning Ukraine, Iran’s nuclear issue, and various international matters were addressed.
