“Iran Warns US Troops Face ‘Sharks of Persian Gulf’ Amidst Ground Invasion Threats”
Iran's military has issued a grave warning, stating that any ground invasion by the United States would result in dire consequences. It declared that American forces would become "good food for the sharks of the Persian Gulf."

Iran’s military has issued a severe warning regarding the potential repercussions of any United States ground invasion, stating it would lead to disastrous outcomes. The Iranian forces declared that such a move would result in American troops becoming “good food for the sharks of the Persian Gulf.”
In a statement released by the spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, it has been asserted that Iranian forces are ready to deliver a firm response should any threats from Trump become a reality.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari has stated that Iran’s military forces are “counting down the moments” in preparation for the elimination of US forces in the event of any ground assault or occupation endeavor.
Trump has consistently made threats towards Iran, suggesting ground operations and the potential occupation of certain islands in the Persian Gulf. However, he characterized these aspirations as mere “pipe dreams.”
Iranian officials have stated that their forces have been prepared for this eventuality, emphasizing that any acts of aggression and occupation will ultimately result in “disgraceful captivity, dismemberment, and the eradication of the aggressors.”
The warning arrives as media reports indicate that the Pentagon is gearing up for potential weeks-long ground operations in Iran, if the ongoing bombing campaign does not meet its intended goals.
In light of recent threats, Iran has strengthened its defensive measures nationwide, with a focus on the crucial southwestern frontier with Iraq, which hosts US military installations, and the strategically significant southeastern area close to the Strait of Hormuz. The Ground Force commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has delivered a stern warning to the US and Israel, declaring that any perceived threat or aggression will be countered with a decisive and forceful retaliation.
In a statement, Zolfaqari strongly criticized Trump, labeling him as “the biggest liar among presidents worldwide” and “entirely unreliable.” He further accused Trump of leading U.S. forces into a “quagmire of death.”
He highlighted that U.S. military forces, wary of potential casualties, have abandoned damaged bases and sought shelter in civilian and economic hubs throughout the region, leaving themselves exposed to risks.
Zolfaqari stated that the leadership in Washington has placed military command in the hands of an “unbalanced” individual, whose actions have caused harm not just to Americans but also to Europe and nations in West Asia.
The United States and Israel initiated a military conflict with Iran on February 28, targeting and killing Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, along with several senior military officials. This development occurred despite ongoing negotiations between Tehran and Washington regarding Iran’s civilian nuclear program.
Iran swiftly launched a series of missile and drone strikes in response to the aggression, targeting Israeli-controlled territories and American military bases and assets located in the region.
