Iran Signals Military Readiness to Counter Potential Aggression: Army Representative
An official spokesperson for Iran's Army has asserted that the Islamic Republic must adopt a defensive strategy capable of deterring any potential future aggressions against the nation.
On Tuesday, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia commented on the ongoing effective defensive and retaliatory actions carried out by the nation’s Armed Forces in response to continued aggression from American and Israeli forces.
In a statement, he emphasized the primary objective in the ongoing conflict is to establish a formidable deterrence. He stressed the importance of taking actions that would prevent the adversary from contemplating any future assaults on the nation once the war has concluded.
The spokesperson stated that the country’s enhanced deterrence capabilities have strengthened its security.
Akraminia has forecasted the establishment of a “new regional order in the post-war era,” which is anticipated to be free from American influence and characterized by the active involvement of regional nations.
For years, Iran has repeatedly referenced similar scenarios. Nations within the region remain its allies.
According to the official, the antagonism demonstrated by Iran’s adversaries, notably the United States, centers on the Islamic Republic’s sovereign status and formidable influence.
The United States aims to ensure that the Israeli regime maintains a dominant position in the region, according to sources. This long-standing policy by Washington is focused on bolstering the regime’s security and facilitating its perceived superiority.
An official has stated that the United States openly discusses the regime’s aspiration to implement the “Greater Israel” project. This ambition reportedly seeks to expand Israeli-occupied territories across the West Asia region, potentially encompassing areas of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
Western officials have consistently reiterated their intentions, seemingly focused on the disintegration of nations within the region. This remains their apparent objective.
The spokesperson stated that these fragmentation strategies align with the United States’ agenda to maintain the perceived superiority of the Israeli administration.
He added that their ultimate goal is to dismantle the political structure of the Islamic Republic, leading to the disintegration of the nation, in a bid to bolster the regime’s influence over others in the region.
Akaraminia emphasized that Iran must actively resist to prevent such developments.
He remarked that the “American order,” constructed by Washington over the past five decades through the establishment of military outposts across the region, “has disintegrated today.”
An official commended the Armed Forces for their efforts, highlighting the impact of consistent retaliatory strikes on American outposts, stating that these actions have led to the destruction of a significant number of these sites.
