Iran Detains 178 Mercenaries Tied to American-Zionist Adversaries
On Thursday, the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported the arrest of 178 individuals suspected of collaborating with what it described as the "American-Zionist enemy," labeling them as traitors and mercenaries.
According to a report from Mehr News Agency, the IRGC Intelligence has revealed that certain individuals provided enemy intelligence services with coordinates of Red Crescent facilities and military checkpoints, potentially facilitating targeted attacks. Furthermore, they allegedly supplied post-attack images of critical sites to support U.S. and Israeli intelligence activities.
The report additionally highlighted that several foreign nationals have been taken into custody since the onset of the conflict. During these apprehensions, officials seized military and technical assets, such as weaponry, geolocation instruments, advanced communication equipment, and foreign currency.
