Iran Calls for Muslim Unity to Counter Israel’s Alleged Hegemony Following Qatar Strikes
Iran has denounced what it describes as Israeli aggression on Qatari territory, emphasizing the importance for Muslim countries to unite in addressing the alleged illegal actions and growing influence of the Israeli regime.
Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has remarked that the Israeli military action on Qatari territory signals a warning to regional nations to prepare for the regime’s expanding dominance.
Ali Larijani issued a strong statement in Arabic on social media platform X, cautioning regional states to prepare for impending dominance from the Zionist entity following its recent actions in Qatar.
Israel conducted aerial bombardments targeting the offices of the Palestinian resistance faction, Hamas, located in Doha, Qatar. This operation, labeled as an “assassination mission,” resulted in the deaths of multiple Hamas leaders along with civilian casualties in the Gulf nation.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has publicly condemned Israel, asserting that the nation has committed severe actions that Iran would never contemplate, particularly in relation to an attack on the people and government of Qatar. Araghchi made these remarks in a post on X.
Iran has expressed solidarity with Qatar and Palestinian allies, condemning what it terms an unlawful attack on urban areas home to civilian guests of Qatar. The Iranian representative labeled the incident as a “vile assault” and extended condolences to those affected, highlighting the injuries sustained by civilians in the attack.
The Iranian foreign minister has urged Muslims to unite against what have been described as acts of aggression by Israel, emphasizing the Islamic Republic’s willingness to collaborate in addressing these threats.
Iranian official Araghchi emphasized the necessity of a unified response from the Muslim world to effectively address the perceived recklessness of the Israeli regime. He stated that Iran is prepared to enhance cooperation to counteract threats to global peace and security.
In a forcefully articulated statement, Hamas condemned Israel for attempting to assassinate its negotiation team in Doha, describing the act as a “heinous crime” and a breach of international law.
Hamas has reported that while its senior negotiators emerged unscathed from an assault, the incident claimed the lives of five members of the resistance group.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of what it described as a “cowardly Israeli attack” targeting the Hamas headquarters in Doha, deeming it a breach of international law and a threat to Qatar’s security.
The Israeli actions have attracted widespread condemnation from global leaders, regional resistance factions, and human rights organizations.
