Investigation Blames US for Minab Massacre; Lawmaker Calls for Trump’s Impeachment
An inquiry has concluded that the United States bears responsibility for the Minab school massacre in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of over 170 children. A congresswoman is calling for the impeachment of Trump on charges of committing "war crimes."

An investigation has confirmed that the United States is accountable for the Minab school massacre in Iran, an event which resulted in the deaths of over 170 children. In response, a congresswoman has called for the impeachment of Trump, citing “war crimes” as the basis for such action.
On the initial day of the current US-Israeli conflict with Iran on February 28, a missile assault targeted the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab, a southern town in Iran, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 175 lives, predominantly children.
Despite the characteristics of the aggressive incident resembling a terrorist attack by the US military, Washington categorically denied any participation in the fatal airstrike. Trump, in an apparent effort to deflect responsibility for the attack, falsely charged Tehran with initiating the assault.
The New York Times, referencing an active military investigation, reported on Wednesday that the responsibility for the tragic incident rested solely with the US military. The operation involved a Tomahawk missile strike on the school, which was filled with children.
The New York Times expressed deep concern, stating that an attack on a school housing children is likely to be remembered as one of the most catastrophic military blunders in recent decades.
The report underscored that the primary conclusion was anticipated, given that the United States is the sole nation in the conflict employing Tomahawk missiles. This development has already posed significant repercussions on the U.S. military operations in Iran. Images have surfaced showing the debris of an American missile that hit an elementary school in Minab, leading to the tragic loss of over 170 students.
In a forceful statement, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib called for the immediate impeachment of Trump, accusing him of committing “war crimes.”
The Trump administration has admitted to conducting an airstrike on a school in Iran that resulted in the deaths of 175 individuals, predominantly young females, after initially denying the incident. Calls for impeachment proceedings against Trump have intensified, alongside demands for the dismissal of Hegseth and for international judicial proceedings to hold the administration accountable for alleged war crimes, according to a statement posted on the platform X.
The ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and the Islamic Republic has resulted in the deaths of over 1,300 civilians, including children. The hostilities have also targeted non-military locations, including schools and hospitals.
In response to the recent hostilities, Iran has launched attacks on the Israeli regime and U.S. military installations within regional nations. These actions have significantly disrupted the production and transportation of oil and natural gas in the area.
