Imam Hussein lovers arrive in Karbala on Arbaeen occasion
TEHRAN, Sep. 01(MNA) – Massive crowds of people arrived in Karbala on the last destination of their Arbaeen journey to commemorate the memory of Imam Hussein (AS) and their faithful companions.
Arbaeen is a Shia religious observance that occurs forty days after the Day of Ashura. It commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was martyred on the 10th day of the month of Muharram.
