Imam Ayatollah Khamenei Calls for Unwavering Unity Among Citizens, Leaders, and Armed Forces
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, has underscored the importance of maintaining national unity and backing the nation's leadership. He has cautioned that adversaries, having been unsuccessful in their attempts to overcome Iran through warfare, are now aiming to sow discord within the country.
During a commemorative ceremony in Tehran on Sunday, observing the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the Leader addressed a multitude of individuals from diverse backgrounds. He emphasized the crucial importance of maintaining the “invincible shield of solidarity” uniting the populace, government officials, and the Armed Forces, warning that this unity must remain uncompromised.
Ayatollah Khamenei declared that the Iranian nation has remained resolute in the face of the United States’ degrading demand for submission and vows to persist in its resistance with unwavering strength.
He observed that adversaries, having recognized through their military setbacks that Iran cannot be coerced into submission through warfare, are now aiming to undermine the nation by sowing discord.
The leader addressed the Israeli-US military offensive against Iran, initiated on June 13. The conflict ceased on June 25, following Iran’s relentless missile counterattacks against Israel that had overpowered the defense systems of the occupying regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei has emphasized the importance of safeguarding national unity among Iranians, urging intellectuals and media figures to uphold solidarity in the aftermath of the conflict. He has also called for support of public officials, notably praising the “diligent and indefatigable president.”
