On the first anniversary of the 2024 Israeli conflict in Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media has begun releasing a series of documentaries. These episodes aim to shed light on the diverse elements of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media has declared that their series will serve as a historical documentation, rather than merely recounting events. The daily episodes aim to chronicle the bravery of individuals whose sacrifices and resilience have etched significant chapters into the history of resistance.
The “Battle of the Formidable in Might” narrates the tale of indomitable warriors who, despite never facing defeat, carved out a legacy of glory and immortality through their sacrifices.
**Day Four | Thursday, September 26, 2024**
In response to perceived Israeli hostilities and in defense of Lebanon and its citizens, the Islamic Resistance conducted 11 military operations on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Most of these operations targeted settlements, barracks, and bases associated with Israeli forces in the occupied regions of northern Palestine.
In a significant military operation, the missile forces of the Islamic Resistance launched a series of intense missile barrages targeting locations deep within occupied Palestine, with a concentrated assault on the designated sites.
Rafael’s defense industry complexes are situated in Zevulun, north of Haifa. The Northern Command’s headquarters is located at the Dado base, north of Safed. The Northern Corps reserve headquarters and the Galilee Division reserve base can be found in Amiad, north of Lake Tiberias. The city of Safed is under Israeli control. The Kiryat Ata settlement is located northeast of Haifa. The Mishar base, which serves as the primary intelligence headquarters for the Northern Command, is positioned north of Safed.
In a related development, the Islamic Resistance Air Force conducted an aerial assault using a squadron of dive drones, striking the Samson base located west of Lake Tiberias with precision accuracy.
Resistance forces within the air defense unit engaged two Israeli warplanes approaching from the sea toward the town of Adloun. Utilizing suitable weaponry, they compelled the aircraft to exit Lebanese airspace.
Reports from Israeli media indicate intense shelling in the occupied city of Acre, succeeded by a barrage of rockets targeting multiple settlements in the Upper Galilee region, including Safed, Rosh Pina, and Kiryat Shmona.
A spokesperson for the Israeli military has confirmed that a total of 45 rockets were launched from Lebanon within the span of two minutes. Some of these rockets impacted multiple locations, including Amiad and Beria in the vicinity of the occupied city of Safed.
A military correspondent for the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth highlighted that despite its deployment of regular and reserve troops at the border, Israel is not fully prepared for an immediate ground invasion of Lebanon. A significant portion of military leaders view such an invasion as potentially disastrous, akin to a “death trap,” and fear it could replicate the strategic errors of the 1982 and 2006 conflicts, during which Israel did not succeed in reaching its objectives despite the military intervention and extended warfare.
On that day, air raid sirens were activated ten times across several regions in northern occupied Palestine, primarily targeting areas around Safed, Acre, and nearby settlements in the Galilee Panhandle.
