Hezbollah’s leader mourns Hazret Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, vows to confront aggression

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, mourned the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who was assassinated in a US-Israeli aggression on Iran in the early hours of Saturday.
Iranian state television reported that he was martyred at his workplace while carrying out his official duties. The report said his presence in his office at the time of the attack refuted claims circulated by “outlets linked to the Israeli regime and regional reactionary currents” that he had been in a secure and undisclosed location, affirming that he remained on the frontlines of responsibility among his people.
In a statement, Sheikh Qassem said, “We in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, along with all supporters and backers of this authentic Khomeini line, will continue the path with determination, steadfastness, and a martyrdom-seeking spirit that knows neither weariness nor surrender, and does not accept humiliation.”
“We will always remain at the forefront of the freedom fighters to liberate the land and people, treading the path of the Martyr of the Ummah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah,” Hezbollah’s leader emphasized.
Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah will carry out its duty in “confronting the aggression” with confidence, stressing that no matter the sacrifices, Hezbollah will not abandon resisting “American tyranny and Zionist criminality.”
He stressed that “the targeting by the tyrannical American aggression and the criminal Zionist entity of Sayyed Khamenei, along with a group of leaders, officials, and innocent Iranian civilians, represents the pinnacle of criminality.”
In the same context, Hezbollah called for a mass public gathering in Beirut’s Southern Suburb on Sunday afternoon to commemorate the martyrdom of Iran’s Leader.
