On Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Operations Room released a statement expressing its commitment to standing with the Palestinian people and their resistance efforts, as well as defending Lebanon and its citizens. The statement emphasized the organization’s ongoing dedication to its mission, following the call of its leader, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, and continuing under the leadership of Sheikh Naim Qassem.
In a prolonged struggle spanning over 13 months, the resistance has upheld its commitment, securing a triumph against an enemy described as delusional, which has been unable to undermine its determination or spirit. According to a statement, the battlefield has been the true testament to their resolve, with steadfast fighters drawing strength from their faith to counteract the enemy’s objectives, overcome its military forces, and chronicle tales of resilience and defiance during the Al-Aqsa Flood and The Formidable in Might confrontations.
In a significant development, the Resistance has officially declared the following statement:
Since the initiation of the Al-Aqsa Flood operations on October 8, 2023, the Islamic Resistance has carried out in excess of 4,637 confirmed military operations over a span of 417 days, yielding an average of approximately 11 operations per day.
Since the onset of aggressive actions by Israeli forces against Lebanon, marked by the commencement of The Formidable in Might operations on September 17, 2024, resistance groups have undertaken a total of 1,666 military operations. This equates to an average of 23 operations each day. These operations have targeted various Israeli military sites, barracks, bases, as well as urban and settlement areas, extending from the Lebanese-Palestinian border to areas beyond Tel Aviv. Additionally, these efforts included confrontations against ground incursions into Lebanese territory.
In the context of the Formidable in Might operations, resistance forces executed 105 military operations as part of the Khaibar series. These operations targeted numerous strategic military and security installations, marking a first in enemy history. Advanced weaponry, including qualitative ballistic missiles and drones, were employed, reaching depths of up to 150 kilometers into occupied Palestinian territories beyond Tel Aviv.
Since the ground incursion into Lebanese territories by the Israeli military on October 1, 2024, cumulative losses sustained by the forces have been reported as follows:
More than 130 military personnel have been reported dead, while over 1,250 have sustained injuries.
The reported losses include the destruction of 59 Merkava tanks, 11 military bulldozers, two Hummer vehicles, two armored vehicles, and two personnel carriers.
A total of six Hermes 450 drones, two Hermes 900 drones, and one quadcopter glider have reportedly been shot down.
It is important to highlight that these figures exclude any losses incurred at military installations, other sites, settlements, and cities under occupation.
The Islamic Resistance Operations Room issued a statement underscoring the following points:
Since the commencement of the ground offensive by Israeli forces into Lebanese territories on October 1, 2024, resistance fighters have successfully thwarted attempts to occupy or secure key frontline towns. The operation, part of the continued military efforts dubbed “Al-Aqsa Flood,” has yet to establish the intended military-security buffer zone. Despite sustained aggression, the invading forces have been unable to halt rocket and drone launches into Israeli-occupied areas. As the hostilities persisted, resistance fighters continued to strike targets within enemy-held regions, demonstrating their resilience throughout the conflict.
The second phase of the ground operation has been described as largely symbolic, serving more as a political and media gesture. The opposing forces did not succeed in penetrating second-tier frontline towns, encountering significant setbacks in areas such as Al-Khiam—where they reportedly retreated three times—Ainatha, Tallousa, Bint Jbeil, and Al-Qawzah. An isolated attempt to push into Al-Bayyadah and Shamaa in the western sector resulted in considerable losses, with the advanced units and tanks of the Israeli forces facing severe resistance and compelled to withdraw.
The resistance’s defensive approach focuses on a strategy tailored to specific areas, implementing more than 300 fortified lines positioned south of the Litani River. These lines are reportedly fully equipped with personnel, necessary equipment, and operational readiness. The results observed in Al-Bayyadah and Al-Khiam serve as notable evidence of the strategy’s effectiveness.
The Islamic Resistance Operations Room has issued a statement confirming that its fighters, proficient in various military domains, remain on high alert to counter any potential advances or aggression from Israeli forces. Vigilant over the activities and withdrawals of the adversary beyond the border, these operatives are poised to defend Lebanon’s sovereignty, prioritizing the nation’s honor and the dignity of its citizens.
The statement also extended its address to the esteemed members of the Resistance.
In a stirring address to the nation, citizens were commended for their remarkable resilience and unwavering commitment in the face of adversity. Recognized for their legendary sacrifices, the people have dismantled the enemy’s illusions, securing victory for a just cause, with divine intervention heralded as a key factor. This triumph has enabled citizens to reclaim their homes and communities with renewed pride and dignity. As they navigate the world, they do so with the spirit of triumph, carrying a banner that symbolizes steadfastness and the collective will to resist oppression and aggression. This enduring spirit is seen as a defining element in the nation’s ongoing struggle for freedom and justice.
The Islamic Resistance, known for its dedication and sacrifices, including the loss of prominent leaders and fighters while defending its lands and people and supporting the oppressed in Palestine, issued a statement today. Addressing its supporters and allies globally, the organization expressed its commitment to continue its mission with renewed vigor. The group pledged to honor the sacrifices of its members by maintaining its stance alongside the oppressed and the fighters in Palestine, particularly emphasizing the significance of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as a symbol of the struggle for freedom and liberation for future generations.
