Hezbollah Leader Warns of Regional Conflagration from Possible US-israeli Conflict with Iran
The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah has issued a stark warning to the United States and Israel, indicating that any new assaults on Iran could precipitate significant repercussions throughout the West Asia region. He emphasized that Tehran is prepared to respond with strength and determination to any acts of aggression.

In a televised address on Monday evening, Sheikh Naim Qassem warned that a fresh conflict involving Iran could ignite widespread turmoil throughout the region. He delivered this statement to thousands of supporters at a significant assembly in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

Sheikh Qassem affirmed Hezbollah’s unwavering support for the people of the Islamic Republic and Ayatollah Khamenei.
The individual highlighted that Hezbollah adheres to the concept of Velayat-e Faqih, or Guardianship of the Jurist, as an essential tenet of both their belief system and guiding principles.
Sheikh Qassem remarked that when Trump issues threats against Ayatollah Khamenei, he is, in effect, targeting tens of millions of Muslims around the globe who regard Khamenei as their spiritual leader.
The leader of Hezbollah emphasized that silence cannot be an option when death threats are issued against Ayatollah Khamenei. The threats are perceived as targeting Hezbollah too. He asserted that they hold full authority to take any necessary actions they consider appropriate.
Sheikh Qassem lauded Iran, describing the nation as a symbol of freedom. He highlighted that the Islamic Republic has achieved significant advancements across scientific, social, moral, and cultural domains.
The Hezbollah Secretary General highlighted that Iran faced a conspicuous and unprovoked 12-day military aggression in June of the previous year. Despite the challenges, Iran demonstrated resilience and managed to counter US-Israeli strategies, aided by collaboration and the prudent leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.
Sheikh Qassem announced that adversaries recently attempted to destabilize Iran’s Islamic regime by capitalizing on socio-economic issues and inserting agitators and saboteurs into otherwise peaceful demonstrations.
He criticized the West for its perceived double standards regarding the rights of the Iranian populace, highlighting the significant domestic support within Iran for its leader and the Islamic regime.
Hezbollah’s leader has reaffirmed Iran’s entitlement to maintain a peaceful nuclear program, alongside its missile capabilities and other military resources, as essential measures for national defense against possible threats. Furthermore, he emphasized Tehran’s prerogative to extend support to the oppressed.
Sheikh Qassem has stated that the United States and Israel are attempting to connect ongoing events in Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, Iran, and other regional locations as part of a larger colonial endeavor.
The leader of Hezbollah declared that adversaries are determined to target any resistance movement, regardless of where it flourishes in the region.
In recent developments, Sheikh Qassem revealed that international intermediaries have reached out to Hezbollah over the past two months, inquiring about the organization’s position regarding potential involvement in a hypothetical US-Israeli military action against Iran.
“Mediators have conveyed that deliberations are underway in both Israel and the United States on the strategic sequence of potential military actions, contemplating whether to initiate strikes on Hezbollah first followed by Iran, or to target Iran initially before engaging Hezbollah. Alternatively, a simultaneous attack on both entities is also under consideration, he stated.”
Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, emphasized that the group’s inclusion in any act of aggression directed at Iran is clear. Qassem stated, “We are resolute in our commitment to self-defense.”
The leader of Hezbollah underscored that the organization will not remain impartial, asserting that its approach to intervention will be determined by the specific conditions on the ground.
Hezbollah’s Deputy Chief, Sheikh Naim Qassem, affirmed that the organization remains resolute and will never capitulate.
He concluded by asserting that accepting concessions and surrender would result in significant losses, emphasizing that there are no bounds to such outcomes. Conversely, he maintained that hope is sustained through defense, with numerous alternatives always available. He warned against threats of death, declaring that the power over life and death rests solely with God Almighty.
