His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, dispatched a message of condolences to Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen.

In a statement, Sheikh Qassem paid tribute to the martyrdom of several Yemeni officials, among them Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi and various ministers, who were allegedly assassinated by what was described as the Israeli-American adversary. Sheikh Qassem highlighted that these individuals lost their lives while dedicated to serving the public and engaging in their struggle through civil services aimed at improving the daily lives and livelihoods of the Yemeni population.

Sheikh Qassem asserted that “the Israeli aggression targeting the Prime Minister and the ministers illustrates the complete failure of the adversary, revealing its pattern of extreme brutality and disregard for human life.” He argued that the enemy’s inability to face the armed forces and direct mujahidin commanders on the battlefield has led to the perpetration of heinous acts against mujahidin leaders dedicated to serving the populace.

In a recent statement, Sheikh Qassim underscored Yemen’s enduring role as a symbol of freedom and resilience on the global stage. He highlighted the country’s commitment to supporting Palestine and Gaza, and resisting any form of occupation or invasion. The Sheikh asserted that recent events would only strengthen the resolve of the Yemeni people, whose spirit of generosity, he said, grows with each martyr they offer.

He concluded with a forecast that the “Zionist entity will encounter disgrace and a devastating downfall, God willing, along with the utter failure of global arrogance and the allied rulers of our region.” He asserted that triumph for Palestine and Jerusalem “will be achieved by the Palestinian people and their resistance, as well as the regional resistance spearheaded by the courageous and honorable Yemen.”

Sheikh Qassim concluded the telegram with a prayer, imploring for divine blessings upon the families of the martyrs, the Yemeni populace, and the courageous leadership.
