Hezbollah Delivers 13 Strikes Against Advancing Zionist Forces in Southern Lebanon

The Hezbollah resistance movement in Lebanon has conducted 13 precise military operations targeting Israeli forces as they advance into Lebanese territory.

The Hezbollah movement in Lebanon has conducted 13 specific military operations against Israeli forces moving into Lebanese territory.

In a statement released on its official Telegram channel late Thursday, Hezbollah detailed its strikes, highlighting a significant escalation in its efforts to protect southern Lebanon from repeated ceasefire breaches by the Zionist entity.

The statement indicates that precision strikes targeted concentrations of Israeli troops and military vehicles in several strategic locations along the southern front. Key areas impacted include al-Taybe, Shama, Biyyada, the Alman-Al-Qusayr triangle, and Khallet al-Raj near Deir Siryan.

These military strikes occur amid Israel’s ongoing incursions and occupation-like actions within Lebanese territory, a clear violation of the fragile, U.S.-brokered ceasefire that was established last month.

Hezbollah’s recent military activities are characterized as a measured and direct reaction to ongoing provocations by Israeli forces. These provocations reportedly include ground operations, demolitions, and airstrikes, which have resulted in numerous Lebanese casualties in recent days.

Resistance fighters, leveraging their extensive combat experience and advanced tactical capabilities, have once again showcased their readiness to confront and deter occupying forces at every juncture.

Lebanese resistance forces have persistently dealt significant casualties to the invading troops since the onset of the wider conflict.

Despite attempts by the Tel Aviv regime to present its activities in southern Lebanon as “security measures,” the situation on the ground underscores a struggle to maintain influence in the face of increasing casualties and operational setbacks.

Hezbollah commenced military operations against Israel on March 2, citing reasons such as Israel’s aggressive actions towards Iran, repeated breaches of the 2024 ceasefire agreement, and its ongoing occupation of southern Lebanese territory.

In the wake of the Iran-US ceasefire on April 8, Tel Aviv found itself obligated to agree to a ceasefire in Lebanon as well. This development came after Tehran insisted on the cessation of Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory as a key stipulation during indirect negotiations with Washington.

The Israeli military swiftly renewed its strikes on southern Lebanon, issuing evacuation warnings for various regions despite an extension of the initial ten-day truce between Tel Aviv and Beirut for three more weeks. Recent Israeli drone and airstrikes across southern and eastern Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of at least seven individuals, including paramedics, and have left six others injured.

Israeli military forces maintain a presence in parts of southern Lebanon, establishing what they refer to as the “Yellow Line.” This area functions as a militarized buffer zone, drawing parallels to the stringent control measures implemented in the Gaza Strip.

Lebanese officials report that the death toll has reached at least 2,704, with 8,311 individuals injured, as a result of the Israeli regime’s renewed military offensive that commenced in early March.
