Hezbollah Criticizes Lebanese Authorities’ Inaction Amid Zionist Assault on Villages
Hezbollah has expressed concern that Lebanese authorities have yet to take measures consistent with national sovereignty and responsibilities.

Hezbollah has criticized Lebanese authorities, claiming they have failed to fulfill their national and sovereign obligations as Israeli forces persist in demolishing villages in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah issued a statement accusing Israel of perpetuating acts of terror and committing atrocities in southern Lebanon. The group alleged that Israel’s expansionist campaign, conducted under the observation of Lebanese authorities and the international community, includes the destruction of villages, burning of homes, bulldozing of roads and fields, and the demolition of schools and hospitals, as civilians are terrorized and the very foundations of life in the region are erased.
The organization stated that its actions were intended to stop residents from returning to their villages, homes, and lands, which they claimed had been nurtured with their sacrifices and the blood of their martyrs.
Hezbollah has placed the onus for the ongoing incidents on the Lebanese authorities, criticizing them for their silence and complicity. The group accused these officials of granting legitimacy to Israel’s occupation and actions by signing the “framework agreement.”
Authorities have been accused of neglecting the destruction and not exerting sufficient political and diplomatic pressure on an international scale to stop the demolitions. Critics are urging that the issue be prioritized in all international engagements and discussions.
The Lebanese group has urged the nation’s authorities to remain attentive to the plight of southern residents, emphasizing the destruction of homes, burning of fields, and obliteration of villages. The group stated that the residents of southern Lebanon are in dire need of land protection and security, underscoring that the state bears primary responsibility for ensuring this. Furthermore, the group asserted that if the authorities fail in their duties, they should refrain from obstructing the people in what it termed their legitimate right to self-defense and land protection.
Hezbollah has called on Lebanese authorities to fulfill their national and constitutional duties by taking immediate action at both political and diplomatic levels to halt what it terms as the destructive activities of the Israeli adversary. The organization also appealed to the international community and its various institutions to meet their obligations by pressing Israel to cease its assaults and vacate all occupied Lebanese lands.
