Hazrat Ayatollah Sistani Condemns US-israeli Aggression Against Iran
Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani, the prominent cleric in Iraq, has issued a stern rebuke against the continuing military actions conducted by the US and Israel targeting Iran.

During the Eid al-Fitr prayers, commemorating the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting period, significant comments were delivered at revered Shia shrines in the Iraqi cities of Karbala and Kadhimiya. The event took place on Saturday.
In a statement, Ayatollah Sistani indicated that fires were still consuming homes in both Iran and Lebanon, attributing the devastation to ongoing military aggression in the two Muslim nations.
A recent statement, as reported by Press TV, emphatically denounced the ongoing war as oppressive and urged Muslims and advocates of freedom worldwide to express their condemnation. The call to action also encouraged global solidarity with the oppressed populations of Iran and Lebanon.
Ayatollah Sistani, a revered figure for millions of Shia Muslims globally, urged influential nations and global leaders, along with Muslim-majority states, to make every effort to halt the ongoing aggression.
The esteemed cleric announced his decision to permit the use of religious donations and endowments, designated for his offices and representatives, to provide assistance to individuals impacted by the conflict in Iran and Lebanon.
The forceful declaration follows three weeks after the United States and Israel initiated a military offensive against Iran.
Iran has effectively countered recent actions by the United States and Israel through significant retaliatory strikes directed at Israeli forces and US interests situated in various Arab nations across the Persian Gulf region.
Muslims in the region, particularly in Iraq and other nations, have shown support for Iran’s opposition to aggression by launching assaults on US forces stationed within their borders.
The aerial strikes led the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah to launch attacks against Israel, in support of Iran. This action triggered a series of Israeli retaliations on various sites in southern and eastern Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, resulting in the displacement of hundreds of thousands in the region.
