Great Satan US Military Cargo Plane Loaded with Weapons Touches Down at Northeastern Syria Airbase
The United States has dispatched additional military and logistical resources to its base in Syria's northeastern Hasakah province. This development occurs even as Washington has recently announced plans for troop reductions and the closure of bases within the region.

According to reports from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a US cargo plane, accompanied by an attack helicopter, touched down at Kharab al-Jir Airport near the oil-rich town of Rmelan on Monday afternoon.
The Britain-based monitoring group, drawing on reports from local sources, has reported that the freighter was carrying electronic devices, an assortment of ammunition including heavy weaponry, and a contingent of military personnel.
The observatory has reported these developments as the US-led military coalition, ostensibly established to combat the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization, seeks to consolidate and reinforce its positions in northeastern Syria.
On October 21, a US cargo aircraft, flanked by two military helicopters, arrived at the same airport, delivering air defense systems and heavy weaponry.
Around 2,000 American military personnel are stationed in Syria, dispersed across multiple bases, primarily concentrated in the northeastern region of the nation.
Thomas Barrack, appointed by Trump as the United States ambassador to Turkey and special envoy for Syria, announced in early June that the Pentagon plans to scale back its military footprint in Syria, maintaining only one operational base in the region.
In an interview with the Turkish network NTV on June 2, Barrack described the withdrawal of troops and the shutdown of military bases as part of a strategic realignment.
He stated that the forthcoming Syria policy would significantly diverge from those of the past century, emphasizing that previous approaches had not yielded successful outcomes.
Former Syrian authorities have repeatedly alleged that the presence of United States military forces and equipment in the country’s northeastern region is aimed at exploiting and extracting natural resources.
In recent developments, several video clips have emerged showing that US forces have been using tankers to transport Syrian crude oil from the northern regions of Syria to bases in northern Iraq. This activity is perceived as part of Washington’s continued exploitation of Syria’s critical resources.
Trump has repeatedly stated that the presence of American troops in the Arab nation is primarily linked to its oil resources.
