Global Sumud Flotilla Faces Threat of Imminent Zionist Assault
The Gaza Sumud Flotilla has been cautioned by international sources about a potential Israeli assault as it approaches regional waters.

The organizers of the Global Sumud Flotilla, which is currently on a mission to challenge the blockade on the Gaza Strip, reported early Thursday that multiple governments have issued warnings to their citizens involved in the endeavor about the threat of an “imminent Israeli attack.”
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reports that the flotilla is en route to Greek territorial waters in an effort to reduce the likelihood of a direct attack by Israel.
On Wednesday, activists aboard the Libyan Omar al-Mukhtar hospital ship disclosed that three drones were observed flying overhead, seemingly engaged in a surveillance mission. Although the vessel was navigating independently to rejoin the main fleet, the crew confirmed that the ship is maintaining its trajectory and is equipped with a mobile medical clinic.
Volunteers aboard the mission have reiterated their commitment to proceed with their efforts, undeterred by escalating threats.
The Global Sumud Flotilla, a coalition of numerous vessels striving to provide humanitarian relief to Gaza, reported that it had been subjected to 12 drone assaults impacting nine of its ships. Organizers have labeled this development as a “dangerous and unprecedented” escalation.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has issued a stern condemnation of the recent assault on a flotilla, characterizing the aggression as unacceptable. In response, he has taken decisive action by deploying an Italian navy vessel to the scene, ready to provide assistance and support should the situation require it.
In a comparable move, Spain has confirmed the deployment of a maritime vessel to join the Global Sumud Flotilla, a significant humanitarian effort aiming to challenge Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced on Wednesday, as reported by El Pais, that a maritime action vessel, fully equipped with necessary resources, will depart from Cartagena the following day. This deployment is intended to provide assistance to the flotilla and conduct any rescue operations if required.
As part of a comprehensive effort towards European coordination, Spain, according to the newspaper, has been actively collaborating with Italy. Ongoing discussions are reportedly in progress with other nations, such as Ireland, aiming to broaden the support network.
