Genocide in Gaza: Israeli strikes kill dozens of Palestinians

Israel has intensified its offensive on the Gaza Strip, carrying out additional strikes despite international criticism. The attacks have resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties.

Israeli attacks on Friday have resulted in the deaths of at least 42 individuals, according to local hospital sources cited by Al-Jazeera.

A recent report indicates that 33 casualties occurred in Gaza City and other northern regions of Gaza.

An ambulance source reported that an individual was killed in an apartment targeted in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.

In a significant development, Israel is advancing its strategy to take control of the Gaza Strip, beginning with the occupation of Gaza City, the territory’s largest urban center.

In a tragic incident, fourteen individuals from the same family lost their lives in a single strike in the at-Twam region close to Gaza City.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has issued a warning, highlighting the dire situation for residents of Gaza, who are described as “trapped with nowhere safe to go.”

Extreme conditions and escalating food insecurity continue to impact families, as communicated in a social media post on platform X on Friday. The post urgently called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza “before it’s too late.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has initiated a significant military offensive in Gaza following a surprise operation by Palestinian resistance fighters named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. This action was reportedly in retaliation to what they describe as Israel’s long-standing campaign of violence and destruction against Palestinian territories.

Since March 2, Israeli authorities have closed all border crossings, effectively halting the flow of humanitarian aid and exacerbating the already severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The ongoing military operations in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of over 64,718 Palestinians, with the majority being women and children.
