On the 714th day of the ongoing conflict targeting the Gaza Strip, Israeli military forces have persisted in their aerial and artillery attacks on neighborhoods in Gaza City in recent hours.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, serving as the military wing of Hamas, have issued a stark warning to the occupying authorities. They declared that their captives are dispersed throughout various neighborhoods in Gaza and emphasized that these prisoners’ lives would be at risk as long as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu persists in both pursuing their elimination and maintaining the occupation of the city.
The recent Israeli military actions have resulted in significant human casualties. According to Palestinian health officials, 45 Palestinians have lost their lives since early Thursday, with 37 fatalities reported in Gaza City due to targeted attacks on residences.
**Specific Incidents Underscore Continuing Aggression:**
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that fatalities resulting from malnutrition have escalated to 435, with 147 children among the deceased. This follows the recording of four new famine-related deaths within the last 24 hours.
The Ministry reported that the health system is in complete disarray, with hospitals overwhelmed by a substantial influx of sick and injured individuals, who are left in corridors without proper beds or sufficient medical care.
**Organized Devastation and Compelled Relocation**
Israeli military forces are utilizing specialized methods for dismantling infrastructure, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent. The forces reportedly used two armored bulldozers packed with tons of explosives to demolish civilian homes in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, located south of Gaza City.
The systematic demolition of residential towers and structures is reportedly part of a prolonged strategy, according to policy analysts, designed to forcibly displace the remaining inhabitants by rendering the city unlivable.
Since the onset of hostilities on October 7, 2023, communication services have been severed over 12 times, as part of a strategic initiative to isolate Gaza and impede humanitarian efforts, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of approximately 65,141 Palestinians, with 165,925 reported injuries predominantly among women and children. The hostilities have displaced hundreds of thousands, while famine-related conditions have claimed 435 lives, including 147 children.
