Gaza Famine Casualties Escalate to 339 Amid Intensified Zionist Aggression

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that seven more Palestinians, including children, have succumbed to famine and malnutrition in the last 24 hours. This development raises the total reported number of famine-related fatalities to 339, among them 124 children.
The United Nations’ official declaration of a state of famine in Gaza has coincided with the documentation of 61 fatalities, including nine children, highlighting the severe humanitarian crisis unfolding in this besieged region.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza has reported that 20 Palestinians lost their lives on Sunday amid the continuing Israeli actions throughout the Gaza Strip. The Israeli forces are reportedly intensifying their operations, deploying drones capable of releasing 15 hand grenades simultaneously, with residential areas and civilians among the primary targets.
The Government Media Office in Gaza reports that the Israeli military has unleashed over 80 booby-trapped robots in densely populated areas, resulting in additional casualties and destruction. Despite the escalation of bombings and worsening humanitarian conditions, over one million Palestinians in Gaza and the northern regions persist in resisting displacement to the south, standing firm against Israeli pressure tactics.
Health authorities in the Gaza Strip have reported that hospitals have received 88 individuals who have lost their lives and 421 who have been wounded within the past 24 hours. Emergency and civil defense teams highlight that many victims are still trapped under debris and in the streets. Rescue operations face significant challenges due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes and access limitations.
The Ministry of Health has reported that the death toll due to the ongoing Israeli aggression has now reached 63,459, with 160,256 people injured since the conflict commenced on October 7, 2023. From March 18, 2025, to date, the ministry has documented 11,328 fatalities and 48,215 injuries.
In the latest developments amid the continuing attacks on Palestinians attempting to secure humanitarian assistance, 30 individuals have been reported killed and 166 injured within the past 24 hours. This increases the cumulative toll of those killed while pursuing aid, known as the “martyrs of livelihood,” to 2,248, with a reported injury count exceeding 16,600.
