Gaza Death Toll Rises to 74,016, Authorities Say

The death toll from Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,016, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry on Saturday.

The ministry said the total number of wounded had risen to 175,068.

The Health Ministry said in its daily report that hospitals had received the bodies of six civilians and 38 wounded people over the previous 48 hours. It added that another citizen had died from injuries sustained in an earlier attack.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 1,415 Palestinians have been killed and 4,953 others injured.
