Desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque shows Zionists’ Fascist mindset

Hamas has described the action of the Zionist Israeli regime’s Security Minister in stepping in the Al-Aqsa Mosque as revealing the fascist nature of the Israeli cabinet and their attempt to Judaize the holy Quds.

The Hamas statement was a response to Itamar Ben-Gvir who led illegal settlers in storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Quds under police protection.

According to the Palestinian Information Center based in Tehran, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said in a statement that today, which is the 35th anniversary of the first Al-Aqsa Mosque massacre on October 8, 1990,  Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir accompanied by a group of settlers, encroached the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Hamas described the act as deliberate and provocative, saying it reflected the fascist mindset of the occupation regime’s cabinet. The action was aimed at desecrating the holy site and was a blatant affront to the Muslims sentiments worldwide, the Hamas statement added.

The statement said the assault was not one single incident but instead, it was an aggressive message aimed at legitimizing the division of the site and to impose Israeli control over Al-Aqsa. Hamas added that the move is part of a comprehensive plot aimed at Judaization of Quds and eliminating the city’s Arab and Islamic identity.

Hamas stressed that Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque are red lines for Palestinians, adding that continued violations will never alter the reality that the mosque is an Islamic holy site.

The Palestinian resistance movement called on Palestinians in Quds, the West Bank, and the territories occupied in 1948 to maintain a constant presence at the mosque and observe i’tikaf (spiritual seclusion) in its courtyards to protect it.

Hamas also urged Arab and Islamic states and international organizations to live up to their political, legal, and moral commitments to stopping Israel’s ongoing aggression and violations.
