Authorities arrest attackers who targeted Mezzeh area and military airport

Minister of Interior, Anas Khattab, said that the authorities arrested the criminals who repeatedly targeted the Mezzeh area and its military airport.

Khattab said in a post on X that criminals who repeatedly targeted the Mezzeh area and its military airport, in desperate attempts to undermine security and stability, are brought to justice.

At the beginning of January, three rockets, fired by unidentified individuals struck the municipality of Mezzeh, in Damascus, causing no casualties, one of the rockets hit the dome of the Al-Muhammadi Mosque and the second hit the Telecommunications Company building, causing material damage to both, the third rocket was landed near the Mezzeh airbase.
