Ansarullah Defies Zionist Threats: “Incapable of Reclaiming a Single Vessel,” Yemen’s Group Challenges Occupation of Sana’a

The Ansarullah resistance movement in Yemen has firmly rejected recent threats from Israel to target its leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and to hoist the Israeli flag in Sana’a, the capital of the Arab nation.

Mohammed al-Farah, a representative of the Ansarullah political bureau, issued a pointed response late on Friday to Israeli military affairs minister Israel Katz’s threats. Al-Farah remarked on the discrepancy between discussions about the occupation of Sana’a and the inability to reclaim even a single vessel.

He emphasized the importance of addressing the Port of Eilat’s closure before initiating discussions concerning Sana’a.

Farah cited a series of attacks by Yemeni Armed Forces targeting key facilities within the territories occupied by Israel on Thursday night.

In a broadcasted announcement on Yemen’s al-Masirah TV, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni military, reported that a long-range hypersonic ballistic missile was aimed at a military location in Tel Aviv. Additionally, he stated that three drones successfully struck targets in Beersheba and the port city of Eilat.

Eilat will continue to be a focus in the ongoing military operations, according to Saree’s statement.

A senior official from Ansarullah highlighted that while Katz discusses the possibility of raising the Israeli flag in Sana’a, he is unable to do so with ships heading to the occupied territories. These vessels must display the flags of other nations to evade targeting by Yemeni naval forces.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X on Friday, Katz declared, “Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, your time is approaching. You will be dispatched to face your leadership and all affiliates of the axis of evil already dwelling in the depths of hell.”

Katz was referring to the killing of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi along with several ministers during an Israeli airstrike on Sana’a on August 28.

An Israeli minister has asserted that the Ansarullah flag “will be replaced by the Israeli blue-and-white flag.”

In reaction to the conflict in Gaza that began in October 2023, Yemeni forces initiated a tactical maritime blockade designed to disrupt the supply of military resources to Israel. They also urged the international community to address the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.

Simultaneously, a series of missile and drone strikes were launched targeting key locations within the Israeli-occupied territories, demonstrating their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have unequivocally announced their resolve to continue military operations until Israel halts its ground and air assaults on the Gaza Strip.

Reports indicate that the ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of over 65,000 Palestinians, with women and children comprising the majority of the casualties.
