Ansarullah Celebrates Netanyahu’s Anger: Calls it a Source of Joy
Ansarullah has voiced satisfaction with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s denouncement of their actions targeting the occupied Palestinian territories. They interpret his criticism as an acknowledgment of their impactful pro-Palestinian initiatives.

Deputy Director of the Yemeni resistance movement’s Media Organization, Nasr al-Din Amer, issued a statement on Tuesday. This followed an earlier declaration by an Israeli official, who pledged retaliatory actions against Yemen’s continued operations targeting Israeli interests.
Since October 2023, the Armed Forces of the Arab Peninsula nation have been carrying out numerous strikes in reaction to what they describe as the Israeli regime’s genocidal campaign against the Gaza Strip.
Recent strikes have targeted Israeli ships and vessels transporting supplies to the occupied territories. As a result, these vessels are being rerouted around Africa to reach their destinations. This situation has led to an increase in commodity prices available to settlers in these areas, significantly impacting the Israeli economy.
In a statement, Amer expressed a hostile stance, asserting, “Netanyahu is our adversary, and we consistently aim to maintain tension with our adversaries.”
Yemen has expressed its steadfast solidarity with Palestine, reaffirming its support for the Palestinian cause amid ongoing tensions in the region.
He highlighted that the Yemeni Armed Forces have designated one of their drones with the name of the occupied city, Yaffa. The military has consistently utilized these unmanned aircraft in operations targeting the occupied city.
According to Amer, the name was selected following consultations with Hamas and Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigade commanders, who have since been martyred. The reference is to Gaza’s leading resistance movement and its military arm.
An official has stated that Yemen has named its aircraft “Yaffa” as a deliberate gesture of solidarity with Palestinians, expressing that the drone’s name is also a source of joy for them.
An official from Ansarullah reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian struggle for liberation from Israeli occupation and aggression. This support, the official noted, reflects the broader sentiments shared by other Arab and Muslim nations.
Amer emphasized that the Yemeni people actively advocate for Palestinian support, organizing large-scale weekly demonstrations to express their solidarity and urge increased national efforts towards advancing the Palestinian cause.
**Demand for Accountability**
Amer, the head of Yemen’s official Saba news agency, has labeled Netanyahu a war criminal. This accusation follows the Israeli leader’s conviction last year by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes and crimes against humanity related to the conflict in Gaza.
The Israeli official, he asserted, should be subjected to prosecution instead of making threats.
He further emphasized the contrast between the actions of the Israeli regime and the reaction of the international community, noting, “The lack of response to the offenses by the Zionist regime emboldens it to perpetrate additional transgressions.”
