American criminals and Israeli regime will ‘regret’ war of aggression against Iran: General Staff

The General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters have warned the United States and the Israeli regime that they will “regret” the new war of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

In a joint statement released on Sunday, they extended condolences to the Iranian nation over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, asserting that the enemies will “regret” the aggression launched against Iran.

“We will make the enemies of the country, especially the criminal America and evil Zionist regime, regret it with the strength, firmness, and support of our noble nation,” read the statement.

“The valuable legacy left to us by the leader and mentor of the free people of the world is the guiding light of the brave and heroic Iranian nation and the avenging armed forces.”

The statement further noted that the remembrance of the martyred leader acts like a guiding light, inspire the pure servants of Islam.

It emphasized that the country’s armed forces will make the nation’s enemies, particularly the American criminals and the Zionist regime, regret their aggression against the honorable people of Iran.

“we will continue the path of that wise and dominant leader until the last drop of our blood and the enemies’ surrender.”

Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred in a strike launched by the Zionist regime and the United States at his residence in Tehran on Saturday. Some of his family members were also martyred in the same attack.

Iran has declared 40 days of public mourning over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
