Advisor Warns New Conflict Could Have Disastrous Impact on U.S.

A senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has warned that any new acts of aggression aimed at Iran would have "catastrophic" consequences for the United States.

Mohsen Rezaei, the former chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), stated on Wednesday that history will document the Iranian nation’s role in bringing down the American superpower in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

American military officials have issued a cautionary statement, suggesting that the continuation of the war may lead to the sinking of their vessels and the loss of soldiers.

In the event of renewed hostilities, the United States “should anticipate that we will capture a significant number of their forces,” stated Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council.

In response to the latest instance of unprovoked aggression by the United States and Israel, the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces have launched a robust counteroffensive. This involved at least 100 strategic strikes targeting critical American and Israeli assets across a wide area of the West Asia region.

Rezaei’s comments highlighted the possibility of substantial human and material losses for the United States should hostilities resume, following acknowledgments from American officials regarding the Islamic Republic’s retention of a considerable portion of its military capabilities despite previous conflicts.

In response to retaliatory actions by the Islamic Republic, Trump declared a two-week pause in military strikes against the nation on April 7.

Trump later prolonged the ceasefire; however, he declared the continuation of an unlawful blockade targeting Iranian ships and ports, contravening the terms of the ceasefire.

Iran has announced the closure of the strategic Strait of Hormuz to all maritime traffic, except for vessels that coordinate with and receive authorization from the relevant Iranian authorities. This decision has reverberated through global energy markets, notably impacting the United States, where rising fuel prices have further strained Trump’s flagging popularity.

Rezaei speculated that Trump might attribute the stalemate resulting from the unprovoked aggression to Congress.

An advisor stated that if Congress opts against entering a conflict, Trump may hold Congress and the Democrats responsible. Conversely, if Congress backs the continuation of the conflict, Trump is likely to assign the consequences of its extension to them.

An official has stated that the most economical course of action for the United States would be to accept the ten conditions outlined by Iran to resolve the ongoing situation.

The conditions stipulated necessitate the definitive resolution of any acts of hostility towards the Islamic Republic, an end to all forms of aggression, the elimination of unlawful sanctions, and the offering of compensation.
