Israeli occupation forces shell agricultural areas in northern Quneitra countryside

Israeli occupation forces launched artillery strikes Wednesday targeting the outskirts of al-Samadaniyah al-Sharqiyah village in the northern countryside of Quneitra.

SANA’s reporter in Quneitra stated that four artillery shells struck agricultural farmland surrounding the village. No casualties were reported.

The attack follows a similar shelling incident on September 28, when Israeli occupation forces fired four artillery rounds toward the outskirts of Tranjeh village in northern Quneitra, targeting the al-Hamriyah hill area without reported injuries.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement through recurring incursions into southern Syria, home raids, arbitrary detentions, land bulldozing, and cross-border artillery strikes.

Damascus has consistently demanded the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory, asserting that all measures taken by the occupation are null, void, and without legal effect under international law. Syria continues to urge the international community to uphold its responsibilities and compel an immediate and full Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.
