Several US Marines wounded in Iran attack: American media

An American media outlet reported that several US Marines were injured following an attack launched by Iran.

NBC News quoted American officials as saying that eight US Marines were wounded roughly two weeks ago in an Iranian missile attack on their vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian military officials had warned that vessels attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz without authorisation would face action by Iran’s Armed Forces.
