‘Israel’ launched a renewed wave of extensive airstrikes across southern Lebanon early Monday, targeting residential areas and towns throughout the Nabatieh region and reportedly carrying out a massacre in the village of Kfar Rumman.
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Kfar Rumman, Arab Salim and Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, while an Israeli drone targeted an ambulance belonging to the Al-Risala Association, according to an Al-Manar correspondent.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said nine people, including paramedics, women and children, were killed and 13 others injured in an Israeli strike on Kfar Rumman.
In Deir al-Zahrani, the Israeli military struck a residential building just minutes after issuing an evacuation warning.
Israeli airstrikes were accompanied by heavy artillery shelling on the outskirts of Nabatieh, Kfar Rumman, Jabal Al-Rafie and Al-Dabsha Heights, according to our correspondent.
The renewed assault comes after a series of Israeli attacks on the Nabatieh region, including an airstrike on the city Sunday evening that left Al-Manar TV reporter Ali Shbeib slightly injured.
The latest attacks come amid an intensifying Israeli military campaign across southern Lebanon, particularly in the Nabatieh region, where residential areas and civilian infrastructure have repeatedly been targeted.
