IRGC Commits to Upholding Leader’s Directives and Emulating Resistance Against Zionist-American Aggression
The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has pledged unwavering commitment to meeting the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, concerning the responsibilities of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces.

In a message sent on Tuesday, Major General Ahmad Vahidi extended his congratulations to Major General Ali Abdollahi for his recent appointment as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces by the Leader.
On Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei elevated Vahidi to the position of major general and designated him as the chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as part of a broader reshuffle of key military leadership roles.
Vahidi conveyed to Abdollahi that this appointment underscores his dedication, proficiency, and unparalleled expertise, particularly in defense and security matters, highlighting his practical and field capabilities.
The chief commander of the IRGC affirmed their complete and thorough readiness to collaborate, create synergies, and engage constructively with the general staff and all branches of the Armed Forces. This effort is aimed at implementing the Leader’s directives and enhancing national defense and security preparedness, underscoring a deep understanding of the strategic role played by the general staff.
He pledged to position “resistance against Zionist-American dominance and the manifestation of the slogan ‘A Strong and United Iran’” as the fundamental directive for the IRGC.
In a different communication, the commander extended congratulations to Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari on his appointment as the deputy chief of staff of the Armed Forces, a decision made by the Leader.
In the latest announcement, Vahidi outlined several directives from Ayatollah Khamenei aimed at bolstering the nation’s defense and security measures while enhancing the spiritual resilience of its Armed Forces.
