Zionist Airstrikes Claim Lives of Eight Palestinians, Including Two Children, Amid Ceasefire Tensions in Gaza
Palestinian medical authorities report that recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of eight Palestinians, among them two children, and have left several others injured. This escalation occurs despite the existence of a 15-point roadmap intended to advance the next phase of last year's Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Local reports indicate that a medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed the deaths of three Palestinians—a husband, wife, and their daughter—following an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in the al-Qarara neighborhood, located northwest of Gaza City, on Sunday.
According to witnesses, the remains were transported to a hospital following the incident. Additionally, three other individuals were reported to have sustained injuries during the attack.
A strike by an Israeli helicopter in the al-Mashaala area, west of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, resulted in the deaths of 68-year-old Kamal Abu Muailiq and his 59-year-old wife, Huda.
A medical source from al-Shifa Hospital has reported that an Israeli airstrike targeting an apartment in the al-Sousi Tower, located near the port area, resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians. According to civil defense sources, the victims have been identified as Abdullah Abu Taif, aged 33, his wife Abeer Anan, 29, and their 5-year-old son, Azzam.
A separate Israeli airstrike targeted an apartment near the Palestine Mosque in the al-Nasr neighborhood, located west of Gaza City, resulting in injuries to another Palestinian.
Israeli forces have conducted an artillery strike in the Dar Al-Salam region of central Khan Younis. As of now, there are no reports concerning potential casualties.
Israeli military forces have opened fire in the eastern al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City. According to initial reports, there have been no casualties as a result of the incident.
Despite a ceasefire that commenced on October 10, 2025, the Israeli military has persisted with daily airstrikes in Gaza. These actions have reportedly resulted in the deaths of 1,222 Palestinians and left 4,053 individuals injured, as per figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Since the onset of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza in October 2023, there have been over 73,000 Palestinian fatalities and more than 174,000 injuries reported. The conflict has led to extensive damage, impacting 90% of the civilian infrastructure. The United Nations has assessed the reconstruction costs to be approximately $70 billion.
