Hormuz Strait played key role in deterrence for Iran in war

A representative for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been crucial in bolstering Iran's deterrence capabilities amid the recent hostilities instigated by the US and Israel against the nation.

The Nasr-2 Operation conducted by Iran inflicted significant damage on US bases in the region, rendering them completely paralyzed, according to Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi of the country’s Armed Forces.

Iran’s forces reportedly disabled US tracking capabilities in a series of assaults on enemy radars, according to statements from Iranian officials. These attacks were said to have targeted US military installations across the West Asia region, significantly diminishing their operational power.

General Mohebbi emphasized that the United States government has allegedly censored the true extent of troop casualties in the conflict, suggesting that over 200 US soldiers are estimated to have been killed.

A statement released today accused US officials of making false claims regarding their focus on military targets in Iran. It was alleged that, contrary to these claims, civilian infrastructure in the country had been targeted, an action attributed to what was described as the “terrorist US government.”

Iranian Armed Forces have issued a severe warning, but some Arab states in the Persian Gulf permitted their territories to serve as bases for US operations against Iran, a source claimed.

In other statements, General Mohebbi highlighted Ukraine’s role in a significant offense involving the targeting of an Iranian vessel. He asserted that the Ukrainian regime’s assault on an Iranian commercial ship will face repercussions.
