On Friday, Hezbollah’s Media Relations office firmly denied rumors circulating on social media regarding the alleged cancellation of Ashura gatherings and mourning ceremonies planned in Beirut’s southern suburb.

Media Relations announced that Ashura gatherings and events are scheduled to occur at their specified venues in the southern suburb of Beirut. This includes the central Ashura gathering at the shrine dedicated to the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, with proceedings commencing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
