Qalibaf Issues Strong Caution to US: Continued Aggression Will Reveal a Different Iran
Iran's Parliamentary Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has issued a cautionary statement to the United States regarding any potential renewal of hostilities or attacks on energy infrastructure. He asserted that Iran's retaliatory actions have already left Trump in a state of confusion.
In a Thursday post on the social media platform X, Qalibaf cautioned that heightened tensions have the potential to destabilize energy markets, harm essential infrastructure, and initiate prolonged regional crises.
The parliament speaker issued a stark warning, asserting that misguided strategies and hasty decisions could catastrophically reshape the situation, disrupt energy infrastructure and markets, and result in a protracted impasse that could last for years. He cautioned that such actions would reveal a transformed Iran.
Qalibaf had previously cautioned that any aggressive move against the Islamic Republic would be confronted with an immediate and resolute response.
He stated on Wednesday that the experiences of the first, second, and third imposed wars have demonstrated to the world that the journey to victory and success is paved with resilience and sacrifice.
In his latest comments, Trump initiated a new wave of hostilities against Iran overnight, marking a clear breach of the ceasefire that was established on April 8.
According to a statement by Trump to Fox News, U.S. military forces have deployed 49 Tomahawk missiles in recent operations targeting Iran.
