Images of hitting Kuwait airports with Iran drone fabricated
Iranian authorities have dismissed images suggesting an Iranian drone struck Kuwait's airport, labeling them as fake. They claim the damage was actually caused by a malfunctioning US Patriot missile, which failed to intercept Iranian missiles.

A well-placed military source has reported that video content allegedly depicting an Iranian drone attack on Kuwait International Airport is a fabricated production, labeling the claims as part of a psychological warfare strategy and a false-flag operation.
An official reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force initiated drone attacks on U.S. targets in Kuwait during nighttime operations, with impacts also documented during the night. However, the official highlighted a discrepancy with foreign media footage, which appeared to depict scenes in broad daylight.
A military official clarified that the U.S. military targets for the IRGC drones were situated over 40 kilometers from the civilian Kuwait airport, emphasizing that such a significant targeting error is implausible.
Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi, spokesperson and deputy of public relations for the IRGC, clarified that internal investigations have affirmed that the IRGC Aerospace Force did not launch any projectiles at the civilian facility.
Mohebi claimed that the damage to the passenger terminal at Kuwait airport was actually the result of a malfunction in the U.S. Patriot missile defense systems.
